FAQ

What is a bulk deal?

A trade in which the total quantity bought or sold by one client is more than 0.5% of the company's listed shares. Exchanges publish these at the end of the day.

What is a block deal?

A single large trade of at least ₹10 crore done in a special trading window, usually between institutions.

What are insider and SAST deals?

Insider trades are buys and sells by promoters, directors and key employees. SAST disclosures are required when someone crosses ownership thresholds under SEBI's takeover rules.

Why do deals matter?

Large buyers or sellers can signal changing institutional interest, but a single deal isn't a reason to trade by itself.
